Markon NAC Brushless Generator Range
The NAC range of brushless ac generators are self-exciting, rotating-field, single phase, 2-Pole units. Outputs range from 600W to 2.2kW at 3000 RPM and 800W to 2.4kW at 3600 RPM.
At unity power factor, rated speed and rated current, voltage regulation will be +4% / -6% of the nominal. All machines offer a 4 wire arrangement suitable for 220/240V range (series connection) or 110/120V range (parallel connection). A 55/110V winding is also available.
The machine is constructed with two aluminum end brackets separated by the stator core pack which is protected by a wrap around cover. The drive end bracket also provides adaption to standard SAE J609a, Flange A engine mounting. The rotor shaft accepts an Extension 5 ( 3/4" taper) engine shaft. The machine is extremely durable, drip-proof, has sealed anti-creep bearing and no brush gear. A terminal box support platform is provided with each machine. Terminal boxes are available fully fitted with sockets, changeover switch and thermal overload breakers or as blank boxes.
